This past week I was replacing the tone pot of my new shecter with a puch-pull pot to split the duncan design HB102s. I noticed that the instead of the the green wire being grounded it was sodered to the right lug of both volume pots while the black lead was grounded.

The sound from the pickups sounds like they should, however for my push-pull split, am I getting the inner or outer coils of the the split humbuckers?

and does it matter that my green and black lead are switched?
