so i finally went through with it and bought the spector ive been eyeing up since august. man....it kicks ass. and i got a killer deal on it. last time i played it there, in september, it was $600 or $620 or something like that. i walk in today, and its $420. i guess there was a sale or something. also, a case for it is normally $120. i got the guy to bring the bass down to $380 i think it was, case to $85, a free pack of flatwounds, and a free cable. i spent $500 total, including tax. id say it was a hell of a bargain. the funny thing is, they actually had two of em in the store. the other one had a much more emphasized top and was i suppose you could say the more visually appealing of the two....but damn does mine sound worlds better. the difference was night and day. the other one was really thin and weak sounding, but mine is ballsy as all hell and just has a huge thick tone. i guess that really showcases the whole quot;try before you buyquot; thing. anyhow, as promised, pics.......
