I would like to get a Marshall 1960A 4X12 cab for my AVT50 (until I buy a JCM2000 head), but these Behringers with Jensen speakers are 1/3 the price.
Are they any good, or should I save up amp; get the Marshall cab, or maybe hunt down a used one?
Thanks - Rob
Stay away from the Behringers. Go to www.avatarspeakers.com
I played one and can't recommend it. It sounded muddy, very bassy and had too sharp highs. It may be a nice deal, but I would look for something else...

I own a couple and they're good. Having the ability to choose the speakers goes a long way to tailoring the cab to your taste and budget.
i hate to beat a dead horse, but my Crate 412 is still for sale in the trading post.

$150 US for the 4X12 cab eh? I wonder what that would work out to in Canadian $ plus shipping to Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada?
How would you compare that Crate to a Marshall cab?
THX
it sounds great with everything i've thrown at it: crate head, mesa f-50. handles clean, medium gain and high gain with ease. it's a good cab, just don't let the crate name fool ya.
it is $86 usd for shipping
$285 for the cab and shipping in canadian dollars
I'd avoid *any* MDF made 4x12...
well, it was all i could afford at the time and I did pay $450 for it.
