I have a Custom in the bridge amp; a Custom 5 bridge model in the neck of my Studio. I really like the C5b in the neck! It matches the output of the Custom nicely but is warm, buttery amp; smooth sounding. The Custom in the bridge just plain rocks! Sounds nice clean too.

I was just looking at this combo on the website and thought that it would be pretty cool then I came here looking and you already have it. How are the cleans with the C5 in the neck instead of the bridge? Is it punchy or mellow and laid back when playing leads.

Maybe someone would put a Custom on the bridge and CC on the neck position? I'm curious how the CC would sound on the neck position.

I think the CC would be muddy as hell

I don't know the guy. Did he play with Skolnick or Murphy?

He's one of the newer dudes, testament is where all the unemployed thrashers go to cut their teeth.
