Please provide suggestions.

My music style is metal along the lines of old metallica, children of bodom, arch enemy, even some ozzy and dio

baisically really fast riffs and melodies with shredding solos, and occasional clean passages

I already have a rocktron velocity poweramp, but I was wondering if there were any better choices. My cab is a peavey XXX 212

Your cab is good, but it can be better.

That being said, check out the Mesa 50:50. I have it and love it for rock. Flip the switch for use with EL34's for aggressive upper mids, or keep using it with 6L6's for clean highs and a big, tight bottom.

VHT 2/50/2. I've heard the MP1 through it and it sounded amazing.

from : localhost/won't comment on your cab since I haven't heard it, but I'd say if you were to get a killer power amp like that, you owe it to yourself to have at least (2) 2x12's.
