Hi...

I have found and old solid state 12W Amp in my cousin garage. It has a broken 8'' speaker and I am looking for a replacement.

The only 8'' speaker my dealer can bring me it's a Celestion Truvox 0818 which is an acustic intended speaker. Do you think it'll be fine to intall one of those on my amp?

The amp is only 12 watts, so I think you'll be okay. Besides, the frequency spectrum of an acoustic isn't that much different than electric. You might be able to find an 8quot; from Carvin, though it's been awhile since I saw their catalog.
