I've some video from some gnr concerts in 2002, his tone is well cool, bucketheads is good too on video . i didnt care for robin finck's sound, too brittle and he makes a mess of solos sometimes.
Does fortus use duncans in his lp's?
I think buckethead was using a Dimarzio X2n in the neck and bridge. If I remember what I seen correctly.
I think bucket used that in his kfc v, his white les paul seems to have covered pickups so i dont know what they would be. Fortus has the best tone of this gig i have, Really cool singing lead tone!
