Hi I want to mount the following setup in my strat : Hot Rails N / Hot Stack M / JB Humbucker B. I know the other pups where designed to 250k pots and the JB is for Les Paul style guitars... So will it sound right(volume whise and things like that) in my strat or should i get another hot rails for bridge for better balance???
Actually, the JB was designed for use in Teles with 250k pots. It should do fin e in your strat with that same configuration.
I'd go for 500K pots myself. All personal preference, but the JB loses to much high end (for me) with 250K pots.
Thanks guys. One thing I want to know. A lot of people compain about the hot rails clean sound.. I like to play rock ballads to like guns and roses scorpions, pink floyd and some blues... and people told me it distorts easily and has a bad sound for blues and only thing i could with do was metal. What do you think of them (both bridge and neck pos??)
I preffer the Cool Rails in the neck myself. It's a cleaner, less compressed sound than the Hot Rails.

Personally my laney amp is way too harsh with 500k pots in some of my guitars, even with treble set low.
Just mix and match, till ya find the combination that works for you.
