Whats your pick for the bridge postion of a PRS Standard 24. Most likely a 59 in the neck.
Stats:
Style - Rock / Instrumental
Amp - Marshall / Fender
Wanting something to compliment S-Deco2/PG and Seth equipped instruments.
I voted for the JB, that is if I were to replace the pick-ups. But I do like and wouldn't change the HFS(bridge) amp; Vintage Bass(Neck) that comes stock. It's a different sound than the JB and it's nice change once and a while.
I voted alnico pro. I currently have a 59/Paf classic (a DM similar to and alnico pro) in a PRS like guitar. It's a great sounding combo.
JB, because every person must have at least one guitar with a JB!
Custom5! I'm getting one soon! I've heard wonders about the C5/59'n combo. PRS forumites love it!
SH-13 all the way, dude.
i voted JB. suitable for all kinds of rock.
Cool. The JB and the 59 were not the 2 I would have guessed as the winners. I have played the JB in other instruments. Still not sure. I like the 59 but I am not sure the coils are hot enough split for the split coil tones on that axe. The Dimebucker kind of jumped out at me too. More things to ponder.
C-5/Jazz or C-5/59 would be my vote. My McCarty sounds really good with the
C-5/59 zebras, although I've thought of switching the 59 for a Jazz.
