ok, the guitar still isn't 100% done yet. i'm still hunting down a dimarzio brand hot pink strat style volume knob (with no luck). right now it has an ibanez JEM knob which is close but not perfect. the match of colors b/t the pickups, strap and JEM knob is much better in person. also it's going in for some pink dot inlays made from dimarzio pickup bobbins in the near future lol.

this was one sick and twisted idea that turned out kinda cool. i even did a custom pink fender logo for it as seen in the last pic. oh, and it says quot;modified in NYquot; under fender.

this thing is a pain to take good pics of, i tried all over the house and outside and i liked these best. oh and don't mind the rusty old fly swatter (if you notice it) that got forgotten outside that i didn't notice 'til after i took the pics...DOH.

also a big THANKS to Brent (9Finger) for the pink strap.
it's also been stamped on the back of the headstock quot;Mr. Pinkquot; instead of a serial number...anyone know what movie that idea came from?

is Mr. Brown your next project... all kidding aside that thing looks sweet. How many strats do you have now?

Ah, I was beginning to wonder, didn't seem like his usual type of purchase haha. No offense to other Brent's w/ pink cliplocks intended .

thanks EZ...well, i have 12 strat like guitars now (two are in the building stages)...i say strat like b/c some are schecters some are charvels some are fenders and some are clones/parts mutts. as for the next projects, well, there was no Mr. Red but one of the two i'm building i guess would be Mr. Red and the other actually could be called Mr. Orange if i wanted to stick with that theme but i think just Mr. Pink will get a name from the movie lol.

I love it! I keep thinking though - I wonder how you could get the saddles pink?

lol, i don't know about the saddles but dimarzio once made pink tuners that replace the vintage style i have on there now. i've been trying to hunt those down too but that's near impossible to do. i did track down a set of black NOS dimarzio tuners though and stuck those on my yellow strat. now if i could only find the pink ones lol.

Pink ain#8217;t my thing (neither is surf green for that matter) but the combination doesn#8217;t look half bad.

Mike, you certainly do have a great eclectic collection of strat shapes. Very cool.

Love pink and love surf green, but never thought combinging them would look cool...but it really does! Cool logo too.
