I'm having some trouble installing a Little '59 in the bridge position of my Strat. It seems to be a bit larger than the hole for the bridge pickup in the pick guard. My question is, is there something else that I should do? I would be a bit skeptical about forcing the pickup through without knowing that it has to be done.
Duncan quot;fixedquot; the this year...all the old Lil pups and rails are a pretty tight fit...just push and becareful.
Good luck
and welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the help. I just tried a bit more, though I'd need a bit more input before I get the go ahead to do anything.
I've also noticed that all of the standard pickups are the same size. What differentiates a bridge pickup? I doubt its an issue with the guitar itself, though I'm not sure.
Some quot;Non-Americanquot; made Strat parts are slightly smaller than normal.
I discovered your same problem when just trying to replace my Mex Start's PUP covers with Fender's standard accessory replacements.
You may need to shave the hole or get a quot;standardquot; sized pick guard.
