im looking to expand my american deluxe strats tonal palette. im looking at a parallel axis original trembucker for the bridge, a modern sounding single in the middle and a vintage sounding tele pickup with lots of mids and bass but enough treble to cut through nicely. any suggestions for the neck and middle? i will be using the s-1 switch with these pickups as well as using the neck tone pot with the middle because im going to be using a 500k pot for the humbucker.

I can't help you with the single coil issue, as I'm not at all versed in those pickups, but I can tell you from personal experience, an Original Parallel Axis is a phenomenal pickup in a strat. I absolutely love mine!

I put a demon/Jb Jr./APS-1 staggered in my strat and love the tone. The demon covers alot of styles of music but so does the PA. I really like the APS-1 in the neck. Very vintage sounding.

I love the SSL-1 in the neck and a Hot Rails in the middle, or 2 x Hot Rails.
