Hi
On which side is the cream on zebras? I want to have cream towards the neck on the neck pick up and towards the bridge on the bridge pickup. What would match that?
I am also looking to change my bridge pickup from the stock '59 in my Hamer USA standard custom (mahogany)to something more output. I hear people rave about the duncan custom. I play heavy metal and do plenty of chugging. Will the custom work? I play an Egnater(Rocktron) TOL 100 which is a dark amp

you want 2 zebra pickups for the creme to be on the outside on each pickup
the custom should be awesome for what you want......it will have tighter bass than the 59, more output, and more drive to it......but it still will have some of the character of the 59 (PAF) sound........just a much meaner version of it........good for chugging and sounding mean
I hope the Duncan folks don't mind, but I like my zebra chart better than theirs. Always available in my sig.
IIRC, Duncan might call reverse zebra what others (like Voodoo and Wagner and some of the other folks) call zebra.
