welp, my QR and 4x12 are on order! yay me =)

what I got it pretty different..check it out...

black tolex on everything...

I got the QR put in the pro mod case WITH the clear lexan (sweet)..and for the control panel....get this...WHITE...with black chicken knobs!...so it's gonna have a soldano type of look to it..heheheh....and white piping...

I got the recommended eminence speaker x pattern config in the cab..with salt and pepper cloth and white piping as well....

I told scott that it's gonna take the attention away from my sloppy playing..lol....

so that's it..a completely new animal as far as QR's go! tee hee =-)

man you will LOVE LOVE LOVE that cab, as i've said 100000000 times before, i love my splawn 4x12!! i've played a ton of cabs and it's the only cab i will ever use again! as for the QR...that's my next head for sure and man do i have a wild idea for how i want mine finished hehehe.

didn't know you had a splan 4x12..what kinda speakers did you get? the eminence x pattern? scott couldn't recommend them highly enough..so i went with that...

anywho, he told me some upcomming things for the head cases..said that not only can you get the lexan now (which I can) but via his partnersship with mcnaught, you're gonna be able to get things painted on it..so it's got an opaque look....niceee =)

yeah my splawn 4x12 has Scott's favorite setup of the eminence readcoats (2 private jacks, 2 governors) in an X pattern and it's just amazing. it gave new life to all 3 of my heads!

I just spent some time on their forum for the first time. They look like one of the best highgain amps to come along in a long time. If I got one, I'd want one exactly like Tony Rombolla's from Godsmack. What a killer looking amp!GJ, McNaught is making those Quilt fronts !!!!

Dude, you are gonna love that QR!!!!

I had one for a little while...GAS got the better of me amp; it was really WAY more amp than I needed....But it is one BADASS amp!!!

They really shove that VH tone down your throat on the site amp; clips, but it really is more than the 1-trick pony they peg it to be.

It cleans up very nicely...very deep 3D tone. It played along well with Hums, P90s, amp; singles. Didn't really get along with my Weber MASS

Wait til you see the footpedal.......the friggin' LEDs will blind you!!! They are BRIGHT !!! My only knock is that the footpedal has a wired cable...I would prefer a detatchable cable but no biggie!!!!

Give us a review once you get it.....and wait til Dirrty Craig chimes in; he LOVES his!!!!

Dirty Craig has one of the better clips over on the Splawn Forum. There's actually a Splawn available locally for $1275, but I need it like a hole in the head! I think my search ended with my Ecstasy. A Splawn at this point is just money I don't need to part with. Killer amps though. Shredder75 is gonna be STOKED!!!

man i'm so torn right now b/t buying a quick rod or a Mansel/Splawn/McNaught guitar. i was talking to Dave Mansel about my guitar ideas and am waiting on a quote from him and Scott for it but part of me is also itching for a QR......damn, i hate choices like this, i want it all lol. i don't quot;needquot; either in any way so i can't even say i need X over Y

GEARJONESER--that godsmack quick rod is killer =) I really like the maple backing that mcnaught did! I didn't even think to ask about that cause I liked the lexan look sooo much, that I just went with that..no charge cuz scott rules! lol...I'm very VERY stoked =D

PUCKBOY--..heheh...I've already bent Craig's ear a MULTITUDE of times about the QR before I decided to put my order in...lol....he's well informed..hahah

XSSIVE--I didn't need this either..but when the boss (wife) says you can get one, you get one...damn the money..LOL
