what classifies a pedal as a quot;boutiquequot; pedal, and the same with amps. i hear this all the time, but am not quite sure i get the true meaning of it.
Handmade stuff, very few numbers made pr day, uses custompaint jobs, specialised inards, expensive sorted parts, lots and lots of knowhow...the latter is what you really pay for!
And that is hard work.

thats what i was thinkin, but as of late i had been seein stuff like electro harmonix bigg muff and holy grail reverb refered to as quot;boutiquequot; pedals, so it kind of got me to wonderin about it. thanks for the reply rid.
They are not, they are mass produced pedals.
More than 25 pieces pr day is about the unofficial count
