Does any of the tone masters hanging around the forum could give a little lecture on the tonal differences a swamp ash body make compared to mahogany body?
I am asking because I am playing a LP Studio mahogany and was wondering how different a LP Studio swamp ash would sound.
And while you are doing this could someone also explain the sound of mahogany compared to alder please
i think that alder is more articulate and less midrangey than mahogany. Swamp ash sounds great for cleans and single coils, but nothing else comes to mind.
Give me more !!!
Please
Swamp ash has more attack and less bass than mahogany. Swamp ash has more high mids, and mahogany has more low mids.
You're getting accurate information. 1 to all
