Im wonderen how it will sound in the bridge position of my strat for playin metal, I love to solo but it also has to be great for that metallica crunch

I got one in my kramer, and i gotta say that I like it. I'd say that the custom has a bit more crunch to it, this one has a bit more growl, like they say in the description.

It is a medium output pickup great for articulations. It can give you nice distirted soloing without being harsh and powerful chords with good crunch and thickness.

i love mine in the bridge of a LP copy - set of 12's, it replaced a USA bill lawrence 500-XL, its a very clear, aggressive versatile pup. i love it's cleans, at the moment i dont have a neck pickup in the guitar, and IMO i don't need one, it sounds great
