I had to let her go in March because things got just a bit too tight, even for me.
But I guess we were meant to be 'cause she's back.........
excellent, bro ... play her in good health and fine prosperity
cheers

Congrats bro. I have been there myself and it must feel good to get her back in your hands after what must have felt like an eternity!
Very cool!
I think a new song commemorating the return is due
Yep, she was gone far too long. Letting that guitar go was something I said I would never do but you know how life can throw you curve balls once in awhile.
Got it back for what I got for it plus 6% sales tax and there wasn't a new mark on it. God willing it's staying home this time.
Sweet recovery Robert. And sweet axe.
Congrats.
Phew! Congratulations.
What pickups does she have currently?
I am truly happy for you, bro. You deserve that axe...unless you wish to donate to my cause.....
I know most people will disagree with me, but I love tops like that on LPs. I think it looks so much better than some extreme figure. Enjoy!
The pickups in it now are the 57 Classics it came with. I had a JP set in it with the JP wiring but that all came out when I sold it.
I just ordered a set of short shaft CTS pots and orange drops from John and when those come in I have an Antiquity set in another LP that will go in, and then a set of Phat Cats are going into that LP.
If I really like the Antys in the 59 RI, I'll probably send it in for 4 conductor wiring and re-install the JP wiring.
Or maybe a set of 4 conductor Seths......
Or maybe the JPs again......
But definately the Antys for now.MN, the top on that guitar is actually very figured but the pic doesnt do it justice.
^Really? Well, then I guess 99% of the people you meet will like it better! I mean, I know I'm important, but 99% is a lot...
i pray you 2 live happily ever after.
Nice to hear that you got it back. May you never part with it again.
Nice...getting one back is a great, great thing.
Ok, I found this on page 2.
Thats really uncalled for......
quot;If you love something, set it free. if it comes back, it's yours.
If it doesn't, hunt it down and kill it.quot;
You're lucky the store was sympathetic enough to give it back for what they paid. They probably just wanted the money back in their hand, since expensive LP's don't fly off the shelves in Michigan.
Didn't you have a C-5/PG in that guitar at one point?
Glad you got it back, Robert. It must have killed you to part with it.
Thats my #1 with the CC (now) and PGn.
The store that did this for me is one of those huge, evil empire stores that everyone complains about. I don't want to get anyone in trouble for hooking me up so we won't mention the name or location.
Is she the one in your avatar? If so, she's puuuuurdy.
