Can anyone suggest a good speaker replacement option to improve the sound of a Line 6 Flextone II combo? I would think that a standard guitar speaker like a G12H30 would color the sound too much in one directon. Anyone got any suggestions? This is a 12quot; speaker.

Just browsed the Eminence site... The Legend Modeling 12 looks like a candidate. Anyone suggest anything from the Celestion line?

My recollection is that there was a speaker upgrade to the Eminence, and that speaker was eventually used in the Flextone III. I called once, and you could pick them up for your Flex II for about 50 bucks apiece. I never did it 'cause I'm cheap.

You might fire a PM to InstituteofNoise, or E-mail Line 6 directly, as it's been awhile and my details might not be straight.

The Flex III have Celestions designed specifically for L6.
Least that's what's in my Flex III XL.
It's called the G12P-80 . I believe it's a G. Damn thing looks like a cross between a G and a C.
They work fine for me. I think my Flex III sounds quite nice.
Oh, they are 8 ohms each.

My Flex is less than a year old, and had version 1.10 already installed on it.

I would email Line 6 to see on how to order them.
