I have a 100w marshall with a low power mode switch to make it a 50w and a fender ss practice amp. I'm going to use my marshall 1936 cab for stereo use. The total wattage is 150w on the cab, so each speaker handles 75w. Do you guys think its safe for me to use just one speaker for my tube amp on 50w with the 25w extra barrier? I want to try this setup so I can jam with my roommate and have the same general kind of tone, allowing the tones to mix better.
