Yeah, that's pretty sweet. Slap an ebony board on there and it would be perfect - for me. If I liked rosewood more, I probably wouldn't change a thing except maybe going for a zebra pup in the bridge. Double cream wouldn't look too bad, either.

That's still one serious guitar.

I love Hamers, as do quite a few of us here. They make great stuff for sure.

As for Ed Roman, He has a great looking site and tons of guitars. I've never dealt with him, but he has a bad reputation (at least personality-wise).

I think nickel covers would look best in that personally...apparently it's a one of a kind color...price is same as a 59 burst too

but I'm gonna go traditional...59 burst...

If you're really into the custom color, see what it would run ($$$) to order directly from Hamer directly from the Custom Shop. They're pretty consumer friendly.

Actually, their factory is in your home state (Bloomfield). Go take a road trip and talk to them directly. The '59 burst is nice, but that blue is killer!Jeff

I actually prefer the traditional colors these days...15 years ago I'da snatched that up...Had a few blue guitars like that...

I hardly EVER like a TSB on any guitar, but this one at willcutt has caught my eye...

They have sev...including a bunch of korinas (couple one pieces too!), but they are out of my price range, and I prefer the binding and trap inlays anyway...

Yep. They'll match any color you send them a sample of. The beauty of Hamer is that their quot;custom shopquot; is their factory, so there isn't a huge upcharge for ordering a customization like with Fender or the others. Especially with a color, all they have to do is put a different color in the spray can. Pretty cool.

You can't go wrong with that 59 burst color. It looks even better in person.

But I like this one and the TSB the best
