About 18 years ago I bought and installed a Duncan HB for my first electric guitar...even wired it split/full/parallell. A friend of mine just returned the quot;carcassquot; of this axe that he used to scavange parts from for his own first guitar. I forgot that this thing was still around...
I'm pretty sure it's a Duncan Custom. All poles are slug, on the back there's a sticker that reads quot;MAG-Mquot;.
Just want to confirm what model it is...might want to sell it.
Thanks!

That's a Stag-Mag.SH-3 -- A versatile humbucker with the edgy brightness of a single coil pickup and the option of the humbucker's full-toned warmth. Staggered rod magnets contribute to the unique sound. When split and used in single coil mode, the sound is characteristic of a vintage Strat ®. Available in black, zebra (cream amp; black), reverse zebra and white as well as the following colors at no extra charge -- red, red amp; black, pink, green, light blue, dark blue amp; yellow.
Four conductor cable
Stag mag? Interesting...
Although maybe I should mention that the pole pieces are all flush with the top of the pickup...
It's the older, Alnico V version of the Stag Mag, called simply, quot; The Magquot;.
Thanks, guys...
I might just have to drop it into my Strat now that I know what it is.
Another thing on the ta-do list...
