i have listened to langs albums over and over and tried researching google with no results of his present or past gear.i dont want to reproduce his sound,just curious as to what he uses for pedals.i know the guitar is his tele...but what pickups?duncans maybe?

i am a ok fan not huge but seen him live a few times
i think he just uses stock fender pups.
the last time i saw him they were covered (even though i know any pickups can be covered) it will be interested to see what turns up here...

I think he played a strat as well in the Blues Brothers 2000 if I remember correctly. As far as effects haven't got a clue sorry.

Duncan does offer the J.Lang split humbucker in the custom shop.
I think he used Fender Custom shop amps? I never read much about
his gear. Sounds like he used a Wah on ` Lie to me'

some say his wah is a vox.dont care for that as i hate vintage wahs.
a tubescreamer is likely to be uesd as a boost.i saw him at a concert here in brazil 4 years ago he was using a vibroking amp.mabye vintage effects pedals like the ce-1...
kenny wahne uses keeley pedals and a HK tube rotosphere if im not mistaken.but they are two of akind guitar blues players.

I found this, but when I saw him live, he had 3 Vibrokings.....2 in stereo, and one as a backup. I think he uses the Z. Vex Super Hard On and/or Fulltone FDII.
