I am considering buying these circuits for my Lp (81/60) and was just curious to hear about your experience with them. Are they worth it? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

the pa2 is great. set your boost amount and flick the swtch works just like it should.
the exg is kinda cool as it boosts highs and lows and is variable so it adds some tonal variety. i like the spc too, its a great lead boost as it fattens up the mids and is very punchy.

What would be a better boost for solos in a band situation? The SPC or the PA2? I'm really just looking for one boost unit and I know a mid boost would also kick it up a notch while trying to cut through. Then again... EMG's cut through without a problem as it is

I like the SPC control. I don't know if it works that much as a boost as it comes before the preamp, but it does add distortion(sustain) and mids(thickness). I use it with dual 81s.

I have a Dave Gilmour set in one of my strats. It basically consists of 3 SA's, the EXG and the SPC.

I like the EXG for distorted power chords. The SPC bumps output and mids. Its supposed to cut highs, but I don't hear that.

A cool bonus is the clean tones with the SPC. It gives the bridge on its own a bit of the spank and snarl of a tele's bridge unit. On the notch tones, it actually adds to the quack and gives a bit more push. It makes the in between tones jump out a bunch.

I have used the EXG and to my ears they really fatten up the sound! I have also used the SPC and I love that item to push my distorted sound over the edge!!

Anyone possibly have one or both of these bad boys for sale? I've been looking all over.

I have an EXG I will sell.
