I got three 8 ohm Celestion Vintage 30's I'm puttin up for sale...these retail for 110 on musicians friend each...I'm lettin em go for 85 each shipped. They're for sale individually, in pairs, or for all three.

I would trade a governor for a v30 or maybe a red ryder for a v30?

Dunno...is there somthing different about em? They got a pretty standard celestion loudspeakers sticker/logo/thingie.

The ones in the MESA cabs always seemed to sound different to me. YES, i know that the cab itself will affect the sound but something about them just seems different. Gotta pic of the brand on the back?

I think you may be on to somthing actually, i do seem to remember hearing somthing about how they quot;hand pickquot; their vintage 30's so that they have a bit more bass response. Could just be a rumor though.

The governor/m,anowar mix with 1 g12t75 is my favorite. The g12t75 has a lower frequency than the ,manowar and it gives it more thumpo at 80hz. The manowar is a higher frequency with more mids than the g12t75. The Governor is cut off at the top end frequencies and does not have as much lows as the v30. My combo I want is a governo, v30, g12t54, manowar with the v30 and governor on top. Try it. You may like the thump and cut to the tone. Very good compromise between mids and lows.. The red ryder has a lower frequency than the manowar as well and is very uncolored. Lets the amp speak without altering the tone too much.

I know you've got some speakers on the way, but would you consider a trade or partial trade on two Eminence Swamp Thangs... with the original boxes?

I really should have posted this before I bought my speakers . lol.

Right now i'm just lookin to recoup the money i spent on the eminence speakers though...I got an empty spot inside me where 300 bucks used to be .

And music 123 has not shipped my speakers out yet, even though i ordered them tuesday night. So...It'll probably still be even longer till i'm able to ship em out. But if anybody want to reserve em, its all good.
