most recently i decided to lower my bridge on the next string change. I knew since i lowered the bridge i would have to adjust the truss rod. For some reason i get an insane amount of buzzing no matter what i do. Any ideas?
go to Frets.com, find the quot;buzz diagnosisquot; section, and read it.

cool site! Thanks Chip!
it is a cool site. my guitar is electric though and its all for acoustic. any other help out there?
It could be that your action is too low. It could also be that your neck is convex instead of concave, and you'll need to adjust the truss rod. It could be a combination of both. There are also other possibilities.
How much relief does the neck have right now?
its pretty straight its bent back just alittle bit. I really want the action really low. anyway i can have that? i see other guitarists with the bridge as low as mine but i get this crazy amount of buzzing.

There is a whole lot more to it than meets the eye bro!!!! Maybe the other players frets are more level than yours? Maybe there is an unforseen hump or dip in your fretboard? There is about 100 different variables that can effect this! It is impossible to accuratly check the relief and for defects in a fretboard without using a notched straight edge. It may be the best idea to take it to a good tech or luthier and have a setup and leveling done on it to cure anything that may be going on! If very low action is worth it to you and you want minimal buzzing the $75-$125 to have all of this done will be more than worth it! BTW, I am a full time luthier for a living if you may be interested or need more advice.
