I heard that this unit is pretty goodand is comparable to the TC electronic
G-major in terms of clarity and transparency.

24bit AD-DA conversion which is a lot better than my sh***y Digitech Studio 100.

At the end of the day, I'm looking for a decent sound processing unit for practice, a few recordings and the occasional odd gig.

Anyone have experience with this unit? There are heaps of reviews on HC and they seem pretty decent, but I want to know what you Duncan-forumers think.

this is way better than the digitech, but be prepared to dig. the presets are awful, but you can get some great sounds. i use mine at every gig.

anyone else have any comments? Any comparisons with any other units, i.e. TC electronic G major etc ?

It's a great unit for the studio. It has effects for EVERYTHING. BTW, some of the lo-fi filters are pretty twisted.
