A customer had me change out the pickups, pots, 5 way switch and wiring harness in his '74 Strat for a set of Duncan SSL-1's and a Twangbanger.

He traded me straight across for his old '74 pickups, pots, switch and wiring.

Now I've got a guy who's restoring his '74 Strat and he wants to buy the whole works from me. What kind of value should I put on this? I'm thinking around $300 or so...maybe more. What do you guys think?

Thanks, Lew

What would've the parts you put in the other guy's guitar cost you? Add that up, tack on 10-20%.

Those gray bottom's are going for $75 on evilbay? Here's a auction you may want to watch? from : localhost/cgi.ebay.com/1976-Fender-Stra...QQcmdZViewItem

A friend of mine was offered amp;#163;400 for a scratchplate and 3 pickups. That's $711, but he'd already closed the deal with a friend for 250 quid (445 US dollars).
