My friend is selling a Martin DC-16GTE for $790
That's the only name he knows it as. The only DC-16GTE i found on the Martin site is a DC-16GTE Premium. And list for about $1800. Is this the same thing? Cause if it is then it's a really good deal. Can you help? Thanks so much really app. it!!!

If my memory serves me correctly the model # go like this The quot;Dquot; is Dreadnaught, the quot;Cquot; is cutaway the 16 is the series the quot;Tquot; is thin and the quot;Equot; is Electric. This is a nice guitar. The List price is usually around double what the guitar would sell for new, so if your friend is offering it for $790.00 that is not a bad price, but it would really depend on the condition and age. The bottom line is do you like the guitar, and wheather you want to pay the price. The D 16 series are nice guitar, about the middle of the road for Martin.
