I used to have a small recording studio/music production business, but wrapped it up a couple years ago because I couldn't afford the rent. Anyway, today I was going through all my mics, and realized that a producer had accidentally left behind a nice Earthworks SR-69 at a session years ago. I haven't a clue what his name is or how to get hold of him, so it's MINE NOW!!!
Earthworks makes some great mics, and this one specializes in studio quality vocal tracks in a handheld! Also good for micing cabs or instruments, like a better quality Shure. Definitely a nice addition to my mic cabinet!
It's a $500 mic!

That's kind of like my 55-SH find a couple of years ago. A couple of supervisors were going through some old equipment at work because we were moving to a different location and the business manager came into my office and asked if I'd have any use for quot;thisquot;, holding out this vintage Elvis mic, purchased when the company was just starting up in 1967. I tried to keep cool while I said, quot;Yes, I think I might be able to use that somewhere.quot; It's a GREAT sounding mic. Earthworks is the same way. Great sounding equipment. What ever happened to them? By the way, congrats on the find!
