I know it sounds stupid, ive asked many bass players and they just laugh at the though. But has anyone ever made a bass tremelo system?

Kahler used to make them (the system pictured) and IIRC will resume production this year...
Hipshot makes a more quot;vintagequot; ytyle bass trem.
Bass trems ruck if the bassist knows how to use them tastefully
