This is the front of my son's guitar.This is a mix of faux finishing,hand detailing and tightening the image up with an airbrush:
The back is a basic 2 colour spray around a simple mask:
The photo's suck because I suck at using a camera.

first one looks good John, but the second link isn't working yet...you should be able to highlight the text next to IMG under the pics and right click on them then select copy, then right click here then select paste...?

That looks really good but I need to get a pop up killer on my laptop!!!!!

Is the pickup also painted?

Neck-9.5quot; radius,Maple on maple,22 fret,C shaped back,inline peg head, straight string config.,1 3/4quot; at nut 2 1/4quot; at heel,Dunlop 6120 frets.May still Feitenize

Body-Mahogany and poplay,basic Tele shape,arched top,single volume,mini-humbucker,string through body.

Very simple guitar,but it is for a 5 year old.

Yes it is,I wanted a nice flow to the image,but added the gold mounting ring to tie the hardware and the neck into the overall effect.

Good, not frequent to see painted pup covers.

I wonder, with the finishing and specs, how does the guitar behaves, tonewise.

It's a thin layer,so it won't be noticeable.I try not to paint poles though so it won't muffle the pick-up.

Well,if you follow the books he always gets rear ended so why not prepare himself for it.
Either that or he just got hired by the company I work for and has been briefed on how to prepare for the work day.
