I'd like to highly recommend Northcoast Music located in Wisconsin....I bought a nice cover for my Vox Valvetronix head and it was the only place I found that sold covers for the Vox product..
E mail returns were very fast and I received the cover in just about 2 days or so..They offer some very cool and hard to get products for the Vox/Marshall guys including hardware, grille cloth etc...Check them out..I'm very very happy with the service and product overall..Thanks again to the folks at Northcoast! Excellent!

Well said John. I just recently started really appreciating smaller music stores. I've been to a few every once in a while in the last 5 years or so and was never really impressed with the service or products they carried. Last weekend I went to pick up my LP in Kennewick Washington and thats when my point of view of smaller music stores totally changed. The sales representatives I was around knew their stuff gearwise and really made me feel at home. Most smaller music stores you could take them or leave them but just the one trip I took down to Music Machine in Kennewick Washington and was like quot;WOWquot;. It's rather hard to explain, but it just felt so right being there and it felt like home even though it was my first time going there. The sales staff wasn't at all pushy and I didn't feel at all pressured to buy anything more than what I was there to buy (my LP). They were all were very laid back and even gave me a big tour of their store and showed me a few of their more highend guitars. Words just can't describe how awesome of an experience it was for me. It didn't feel like any old music store, it really felt like something so special. I'm glad I did business with them, it feels great to know that I supported a smaller music store who really really deserves to be supported as much as they do. As I told the people at staff at Music Machine, I am truely saddened that they aren't located closer to me, because if they were I'd be waving to Guitar Center and every other music store and never look back. Just thought I'd share, Thanks for the thread John.
I'd also like to add that they gave me a free set of acoustic guitar strings because I told them how lifeless my acoustic sounded and said I thought it was about time for a string change (I have a cheap acoustic so I wasn't sure if the string change would do the trick). The guy gave me a free set of strings and said quot;here, I want you to have these and put them on your acoustic and see if it improves your tonequot;. I know your probably thinking.. quot;Wow, a free set of strings, big dealquot;... surely, a set of strings isn't much, but its the thought and generosity that really counts, and makes me wanna go back and do business with them next time I make another big purchase. Anyways, guess where I'll be buying my acoustic when I come up with the cash? Visit Music Machine on the web at
They're definately a cool local shop around here. Gary (one of the owners of NorthCoast, I believe) used to work at Sonic Speakers in Cudahy, WI with some of the guys I work with at Music Go Round, so he's always calling our shop to shoot the $hit.
If you're ever in the area, I'd recommend stopping by NorthCoast Music and Wade's Guitar shop.. both EXCELLENT shops with real nice guys and some killer gear.
I thought North Coast Music was a major distributor for Vox

Thanks for posting back to me all....Yes,Gary is the gentleman that has sent me the quick e mail returns...I was very impressed that they got the product sent out to me quick...Not only that, but their website showed them being out of stock on the cover and this bummed me out....Gary sends me an e mail about an hour later telling me he actually had 14 covers..It seemed like he wanted to help me and took no amount of time getting back to me...The whole transaction was the best music store transaction to date!
People are pretty quick to complain and would waste their energy doing that..I'd rather just say quot;THANKSquot; and give a guy a pat on the back..
I'd buy from them again in a NY minute...
