I have played and loved to death the Schecter Damien series 6 string. Felt very solid and has a neck shape similar to my OLP but alittle fatter. I still hate EMG's and those HZ's are ok, but won't last long, make way for Dimarzio's. I also put my Les Paul up on ebay, look in the Trade section for it.

i wouldn't get rid of the LP...but the schecter will be nice...and yea a new set of Dimarz...................................whaaaaaaa aaaaaaaa

But I really like the sound of Dimarzio's, i know i know, I'm a sinner against SD. But look at it this way, I need a guitar that somewhat matches my OLP's tone, which it is all the same woods except for the maple fretboard. So another Tone Zone in the Schecter would give me just wha tI want.
