What is the difference between the LP classic and standard, NOT including pickups (I know those already, and they would be swapped out anyway!)?

Aged inlays on the classic, plain maple top on classic, AA figured maple on the standard, choice of thin 60's or thick '59 neck on the standard, only the thin '60 neck on the classic.

That's it, besides the pickups

Really nice if you l ike the thinner 60's neck.

If you're looking for a Classic or if you were gonna buy a Standard with the 60's neck there is a beautiful Classic in the trading post that has a beautiful finish and already has a set of Grovers a bone nut and a set of Burstbuckers (a 1 in the neck and a 2 in the bridge) which , IMO is a KILLER set of pickups and the price is right on the guitar!

Classics are a two piece body now. At least some are.

I believe the Standard is still one piece.

Oh, and the Classic has the ugly aged greenish yellow inlays.
