Hey you guy's, I just bought an SD Invader Humbucker, how are they???

I don't know. I was hoping you could tell us.

Many people like them for hard rock and metal. It's supposed to be a hot, fat humbucker and it's supposed to go well with bright guitars.

Wire it up and let us know what you think (I've never had one myself).

They are probably the hottest pickup in SD's line up. They also have the biggest bottom end of any pickup that I have ever heard. The complaint that many have with them is that the huge bass can make many guitars sound muddy. I haven't got them to work in any of my guitars, but I have heard them sound very good in a friends Ibanez RG. the cool thing about that guitar, is that it can make an open back 2x12 cab sound as fat as a 4x12. Mark Morton from Lamb of God uses them in his guitars through a compressor and a Mesa Mark IV and gets AWESOME tone!!! SUPER THICK!!!
