anyone ever notice that when playing with the tone wizard, neither the JB nor Jazz pickup comes for ANY musical style with an ash body hardtail guitar with maple neck....

yet this is Seymour's signature combo in his telecaster? I mean, the guy who INVENTED all of the pickups made by the company? Yeah, that guy.i like how with mahogany bodied guitars, the JB and jazz are always options haha

I don't put a lot of faith in the wizard when he doesn't recommend the Distortion for everything.

He doesn't recommend the '59 bridge as a rock or classic rock pickup in a mahogany bodied guitar. It's weird because the '59b is probably the closest thing to being THE classic rock humbucker in the SD line.

But seriously, it's gotta be hard to cater for EVERYBODYS tastes, I'd use it more as a starting point, since they have the exchange program anyway.

Anyone noticed that you get different settups if you put in the same specs??
