What can you recommend for a high quality metronome (not drum machine)?
Thanks =)
tick tock tick tock.
Should it have true spypass too?
Get those old metronomes that they use for piano and alike lessons, they get quite expensive and are accurate like old Swiss clocks!
Expensive is the word here...and no true spypass and fancy clours.

Nope, but lots of exclusive exotic woods
Take a look at the oldfashioned metronomes of Whittner.
Well yes....got my grandma's old metronome in a closet...it is accurate even after 60 years
It is just a black piano laquer one.

1, Wittner is the company to look for
I have a large Wittner Pyramid. It has a plastic case with walnut grain and without a bell so it's not the most expensive model but it's really precise.

No, usually they don't click, but BEEP. They always get on my nerves!
Actually I kind of like the quot;beepquot; of the digitals, get´s your ears a bit used to playing to a click-track, which is great for the studio
McAdams. Don't get a pendulum metronome, they are a pain and can't subdivide. The McAdams is a great metronome, and provides tuning pitches as well.
from : localhost/less Boo-Teak option is the venerable Roland Dr. Beat.
As a classically trained musician I can't begin to count the amount of hours I spent practicing with one of the above clicking away...
In this high tech world, has someone come up with a PC version with multiple clicks/bells/visual indicators/multiple colors/bar timings?
zetronome is my weapon of choice.. google it!
