Hey Guys.

Used my Heritage with the antiquities to record a track I learned out of a book quot;Jazz Guitar Favoritesquot; by Hal Leonard. The track is called quot;Yesterdaysquot;.
The guitar has some chorus and reverb on it. I applied these quot;Cakewalkquot; effects after recording a completely dry mono signal. I recorded using a TUBE MP mic preamp - boosting the guitar signal. I'm using the neck pickup with the tone rolled down to 3. from : localhost/click on quot;hi-fiquot; version. If that doesn't work, try the quot;lo-fiquot; version.

Transcribed and performed by jack grassel. These 3 books have 6 songs in each one. The guitar is on the left channel. Bass and piano are on the right channel - so you can play it as a backing track by changing to the right chanel. Each song contains a transcription of a world-famous solo by a different jazz legend. My favorite right now is Pat Martino's quot;Oleoquot; - polytonal chromaticism at it's finest.

Another book I would recommend first, however, is Jazz Guitar Play-along. Also by Hal Leonard. Number: NL00699584. This book contains 8 songs. Song version and backing track version for each one. It has the following tunes: All Blues, Bluesette, Footprints, Insensatez, Misty, Satin Doll, Stella, and Tenor Madness. I learned all 8 note for note. I love playing along.
