I know there was just a thread on Cort guitars and most seemed to think they where desent? My Father just emailed me this pic of his buddies Cort LP. and wanted to know if I was interested? I offered $100 for it. But the guy said that's to low? All I know about this thing is it's set neck, Heavy and has a Brass nut. I don't know if it's a real Maple cap? or if it's even Mahogany? There's no serial # to date it or model #. Can anyone Clue me in on this?

Hmmm hard to say Ken. The bridge looks pretty crappy and I almost always use that as a tell tale sign. Doesn't appear to have strings on it either which if it is down in FLA can be a real bad thing.

Cort never made aything I was real impressed with and it is sort of an unknown that guitar.

Get picks of the control cavity to see what it is made of, a side and back shot wouldn't hurt either. Could be ply and you want to stay far away from a ply LP IMO.
