Im looking for a reverb pedal

im looking at the electro-harmonix holy grail.

how is it? is it noisy when its turned on? when it is off it doesnt matter as i will be running it into a true-bypass switcher. how is the overall quality? how does it sound? i will be using it for mainly a hall/ambience reverb sound.

ehx holy grail i dont really like. it doesnt give that many sounds and i dunno i dont think its that good overall. i would say the digitech reverb. i know everyone thinks digitech sux, but this is actually a good one. especially the spring reverb. its a very versatile and overall good quality reverb pedal.

I use one of these w/ my non-reverb amps. I loves it!

eh holy grail hands down! the best non built in reverb i've ever used. it's the only one that sounds like a real built in reverb unit to my ears. i use one as the last pedal in my FX loop of my powerball and it's great, not one complaint.

nepalnt21 i wonder about you sometimes lol you like the digijunk over the EH??? that's just plain odd lol over my years of playing and owning tons of gear i have found that digitech pedals do one thing very well...act as paperweights
