Does anyone here use and like any of these pedals: Ibanez DS-7 distortion, PH-7 Phaser, CF-7 Chorus/Flanger, SM-7 SmashBox, DE-7 StereoDelay? They look to be reasonably priced. They are probably good quot;starterquot; pedals aren't they. Can they be tweaked and modded?
I like the 2 in one pedals like the jekyl and hyde or route 66, but I could get a DS-7 and a TS-7, spend less and have the same types of effects right?
I only have experience with the CF-7 and the LF-7, so here's my rundown:
the CF-7 - an ok pedal on both effects. but i found both sides of it to be a little thin. not much depth but still very noticable. I did not like this pedal as much as the boss flanger. I actually sold this pedal to Dooogz on this forum and he LOVES it. it's just a matter of taste on this one.
the LF-7 - does exactly what it's meant to do. lot's of tones available and very useful. Picture the beginning of Flaw's quot;Only the Strong Survivequot; on their first disc. Set the LoFi to the AM radio setting and the pedal nails the tone.
