hiya folks of musical knowledge,
how are those babies? they look simple and no-frills. anyone like/dislike playing them?

the new ones with singlecut , no pickguard and one dog-ear P90
They look like and feel like a LP Jr on a Strap except for the little MM Headstock and they have a real P-90 and a real mahogany body but the neck is made from quot;Spanish Cedar or equivalentquot; and as cool as they are and as cheap as they are the neck thing scares me a little...so much that i have never even bothered to find one to try out...they have the 60 Slim taper neck which is not may fav but the price is pretty low.
Actually, I just looked on different websit that listed the body wood as quot;Santa Maria or equivalentquot;...
Tey sell on line for about $530.00 and IMO you can get a good bif ofguitar (made from quot;real' wood) for 500 bones. You can get one of those PRS SE Soapbar II's for less than $500.00 brand new anywhere and I have seen some killer deals on those lately.
what is this quot;spanish cedarquot;?
it's a pretty soft wood that gets used in gut string guitars...what scares me the most is the part that says quot;or equivalentquot;!
I love the things. That's one Gibson I'd like to get my hands on. Nice simple rock machine.
