My girlfriend posted pics of my guitars at from : localhost/mysite.verizon.net/res03q0t/ I only have 3 guitars but I love them all!
Diggin' the McNaught ... always liked his guitars but am never willing to pony up the dough (so to speak) for that quality of work ..My loss I guess
Marty....very nice guitars. If a guy could only have 3 guitars EVER, you have 3 of the best. The only thing I would add to that collection is a Strat, just for a little different sound, but that's it. Love the McNaught. I have thought about pulling the trigger on one of those, and may in the future. Is it similar at all to the PRS or LP, or just a completely different sound?
I really dig the MCNaught's color...
nice choice on only having three guitars. there's tons of guys who have loads of mediocre gear when they could have 3 top quality axes like yours. although, if I were you, i would feel scared even playing those guitars. they're too nice for me to want to dent or scratch.
Nice collection, gorgeous pieces man!
Thanks everyone, To answer your question Jeff, The PRS and McNaught are similar in the 2 humbucking, 5 way switch wiring but sound very different. The PRS is solid and the McNaught is chambered, and the pickups are very different. The Dragon 2s have a warm vintage sweetness to them while the Rio Grandes are very aggressive, in your face pickups. Both sound great in both humbucking and single coil modes.
Two Headed Boy, I do worry about dinging them up but life is short and I bought these guitars to play. I am a full time gigging musician 5 nights a week, 50 weeks a year. The mcNaught gets 90 % of the playing time and it was the most expensive of the 3. If I'm doing an outdoor gig I'll always use the PRS which was the cheapest of the 3 but I just try to be as careful as possible with all of them.
wow that LP looks insane (in a really awesome way)
