Hey, I was wondering if a hotrails in the bridge of a tele could do some hard, close to metal sounds? distortion?
Yes, it could. Those things are F'n hot!!!

I am actually planning on a custom tele project with a Dimebucker bridge hotrails neck...now tell me thats not a hot guitar!
oh yeah mahogany body/neck too!
is a hotrails possible for a neck pup? if so any pics anyone?
10 to 1 im going to hit up warmoth to see what they can do for me
The hot rails neck model is excellent. I have it in the neck of my Strat (and also a bridge one) and that is a great combination. You get some great lead tones from the neck hot rails.

Looks exactly the same as a hotrails bridge save for the sticker on the bottom
Hot rails comes in bridge or neck/md. Great pick up for hard rock/metal.
Does the neck/middle model have more highs than the bridge model?
Yes, and lower output, like almost all neck models
Are the Hotrails for the tele the same as the Strat? and they make a hotrails neck pup for the tele? direct swap from the lipstick to the hotrails?
or do I order the hotrails bridge for the tele and the strat hotrails neck?
tele hotrails bridge, and a strat hotrails neck, and you would need to cut the pickguard
