Well...There's still something special and to be said about an all tube amp...I'm really only talking about the overall feel of the amp and not just the tone though...I've been using my Cyber Twin and the Valvetronix amp for quite awhile and these amps sound great, but I guess I was missing the overall feel and vibe we get from a great sounding tube amp...

I put a set of small bottled TAD 6L6 tubes into this amp and so I brought it to practice...The tubes are great and the amp sounded great...My bass player summed it all up and told me that the BF Pro Reverb amp I Own seems to sit better in the mix of our band..The amp has a certain warmth and complexity and is articulate in a different way from the vox and the CT amps..There was that certain something in the feel and how the notes react off the guitar with the PR last night..

It was a pleasure playing through my PR amp last night..Very inspiring!

Yeah, sometimes u just gotta switch things up like a bisexual. I've got a few amps amp; everytime I go back to my 68 Pro Reverb, I'm sooo glad that I have it in my stock.

The 40 watts are just perfect in a lot of band situations, aren't they?

Yes 40 watts is perfect,as is the 22 watt Deluxe Reverb...
I'll have to pass on part 1 of your post though brother.....

Yeah, I love havin' the choice weather to grab my Z28 (22 watts), or the Pro Reverb, depending on how loud the band is.

Glad you rediscovered some tube tone my brother. Ultimately (at least with techonolgy where it is today) the true test of tone is in a great tube amp.

Yeah...Guess I'm going to have to fire up my old non-master volume Marshall at practice pretty soon also...

UH-OH your tone will thank you, but your back and bandmates ears won't!

Just remember, when in doubt, put everything on 10.

Except the presence. I prefer that on about 7, otherwise it's just too damn bright.
