hello everyone i just wanna know what you think of this guitar (it's my dream!) and i play punk rocky popy blink/green day sounding stuff:
a fender cyclone with a alder body maple neck with a rosewood finger board it would have a invader humbucker in the bridge (slanted white ) a standerd tele neck pickup (stright) on the volume pot a s-1 switch 4 the bridge a normal tremolo(tipof tremolo would be white) bridge and it would have a white body and a black pickgared and to top it off a black racing stripe!
p.s. this is my 1st post
sounds pretty much Like a normal Fender cyclone to me. With the addition of an invader and a tele pickup. I think fender even used to make it with a raceing stripe (only for a short while), So you could probably find a used one cheap.
But, you left out alotta important stuff. Like the type of tuners? Scale lenth? fret size? Inlays/material?
Or are you just gonna buy a cyclone and customize it?
anyways, Sounds Ok to me. Haha. Although I've never been much of a fan of the Mustang/cyclone body shape personally. But then again, I don't have to play it. Haha.

cyclones rock more than anyone will admit. I need a cyclone 2. I'd rather have a mustang. Anyways, yeah. Stripes rock.
They're a deal. get one.
Do they still even make them?

sladeThey still make em, Just not with the stripes anymore. They actully make three different kinds of Cyclones now. the normal one (n/single-b/Hum), One with two humbuckers, and One with Three Jaguar single coils. Squire also makes one too (just the normal cyclone type), And its uver cheap. The Cyclone is a Nice guitar for the money. I just Don't like the itsy bitsy body.
And Incase you didn't know, Fender is makeing a MIM Mustang now. Its pretty cheap ($629 @ Music123.com), But they only come in two colors. Light blue w/tort pickguard, and Vintage white w/black pickgaurd. No raceing stripes either. But still, They're not much more than a Cyclone.
Just thought you'de like to know.

hey im hoping 2 get a fender cyclone 4 xmas and seeing as im only 12 years old i forgot about all the other crap to list but ive been playing guitar for 5 years and i just really lov the cyclone lol
p.s. keep the replies coming!
I wouldn't angle an Invader...bass strings closer to the neck would exaggerate it's tendancy to get muddy on them.
Other than that guitars sounds really cool..
Switch the Invader for a Custom and then you'll be rockin'.
BTW, the Cyclone's body and scale length are a bit bigger than the Mustang. 24.75 vs 24quot; scales.
Sounds pretty cool. I think it would look awesome.
