OK....imagine this:
A solid rosewood body with a maple neck with ebony fretboard... I figure the rosewood would be darkish sounding and the maple/ebony would brighten it up, getting a very unique sound overall sound.
Plus the rosewood body would look cooooooooooooooooooool...
The only slight difficulty is getting the rosewood body, but otherwise I think it would be pretty interesting, no?
VEEEEEEEEEERY Heavy. I mean quot;I hope your dad´s a Chiropractorquot; Heavy
Why not just go with a Rosewood top? It's possible and could avoid the weight issue
I have a solid rosewood body on my B.C Rich stealth Custom vombined with a full ebnony neck and fretboard. To my ears it's sound is perfect and ideal for my playing(mostly extreme metal tones but other stuff too) but the main problem really is it's enormous weight but i got used to it.
UAAA, Rosewood with a full Ebony Neck thru....OOOOOOOOOW, and I usually LIKE Heavy guitars like Lesters and explorers.
You gotta come to Freiburg sometime and bring an axe or 2 with ya
OK...... So a chambered rosewood body...
