Miraculously, you have the amp of your choice and electricity too!

Yes, I'll allow the fat strat with your choice of SD pickups!

Fat Strat w/ JB/Jazz

Fender Metal-Head Full-Stack

one of my strats! s/c sized hum in the neck, full size hum in the bridge, one volume, one tone and a 3 way switch. into a diezel herbert head and a splawn 4x12 cab. that's all i need!

-Mike

A strong strat so I could smash coconuts, with PAF 'buckers in it, and a Marshall 100w HW 1959 with 2 4x12s, becuase I'd want to play loud.

dont like either

texas fat strat with seymour duncans.

ill go with a bogner ecstacy head with marshall 1960AV cabs.

Les Paul. No question

Of those two, I'd probably go LP. I play humbuckers 80% of the time.

'56 RI Les Paul Goldtop, but only if it played REALLY good. I hate the feel of most les pauls, but this is my favorite sounding guitar.

Custom shop LP: plain top, Alnico II Pro in the neck, Custom Custom in the bridge, faded cherry burst finish, 60's taper neck, rosewood board...

For the amp, I'd have to have either a Flextone III or a Vox AD120VTX. I'd love a Marshall Silver Jubilee, but I'd get bored.

Its a new millenium gentlemen. Having a Strat doesn't necessarily mean having singles.

I'd take the Strat in my sig.

Artie

guys did you all READ his post??? he said quot;fat strats allowedquot; meaning humbuckers.

-Mike

Listen dudes, there are no electric sockets on desert islands, so I think the pickup thing is irrelevant.

No question a Les Paul with the choices given

I'd like my old Black Standard back...or some kind of RI/Custom shop model...pups would be the tough choice...SH5b/59n or a pair of 59s or a DiMarzio Virt Hot PAFb and virt PAF neck or a SuperD bridge and Air classic neck..or...heh

but I must say, I think I'd rather have my new Firebird over the Les Paul.... :ducks:

as for amps...yikes...I'm happy with the Chubster...but I think I'd go with a JMP1 preamp and el34 poweramp and a 4x12 w/30s...jes so I could get a ton of diff tones...

My Charvel Model 6 or a Jackson Soloist with quot;Fenderquot; taped over the headstock
