I'm interested in creating a small group of trustworthy pickup fans, who would be willing to make their personal stash of pickups part of a temporary trade situation.

First, you've got to be someone that is known here to be a trustworthy and responsible person with a reasonable number of posts. Second, you've got to have at least 3 Duncans or other equal quality pickups ie..Rio, DiMarzio, Voodoo, Kinman. Also, to avoid costly shipping and potential loss or delays, it would be better to confine it to people within your own country.
And of course, DON'T accidentally damage a pickup, lose it, cut the wires shorter, or ruin the ends, or else the trader will have the option of being paid the retail price or keeping your contribution to the trade.
In my opinion, this would be a great way for some of us to hear a lot more pickups in our guitars without spending more or inconveniencing retailers with exchanges.

I could offer these as temporary swaps for something you have of interest to me.

This is funny! I've been looking at my Duncans sitting on a shelf for some time now . . . so I finally decided to list them in the Trading Post.

I'll have to see who gets what, before I'll know whats left.

Some of these pickups I wouldnt be very thrilled about trading but I would be willing to trade most of them.

I've got a Fender CS Strat Pickup that I'd be willing to sell if someone gave me $25 shipped for it not sure what model it is... but heres the specs.

- Staggered Poles
- 2-conductor cloth-covered wires
- Looks like a laquered bobbin underneath the white cover.
- Silver sticker with the Fender Custom Shop logo on it on the pickup's underside.
- Sounds badass!

I got a 490R and 498T up for grabs.....haven't seen too many in the few post in this thread thats got to count for something.

I've got a double cream Seth Lover(A3)/Antiquity(8.7k A5) set I'm not using that any of you responsible guys can borrow anytime. I've also got a Mightymite Motherbucker that, while it's a nice pickup, I doubt anyone would be interested in trying because of the name.

I'm even willing to consider almost all of my humbuckers as spares, even if they're in a guitar. I want to hear my 'main players' with as many pickups as possible, just to find out if there's an undiscovered gem I overlooked.
Everyone....list the pickups you want to temporarily trade. It'd be great to try a new set each week, just for a few bucks for shipping.
